Patty
Practice Administrator/Treatment Coordinator, RDA, OAP
Patty is a San Diego native and has worked in the orthodontic field as a Registered Dental Assistant since 1987. After working many years as a clinical assistant, she transitioned into the role of Treatment Coordinator and is now our Practice Administrator. Patty provides quality care to each and every patient and believes that patience and caring go a long way in keeping our team and patients happy.
I love how a beautiful smile can make a difference in the confidence of a child.
My own two children have gone through treatment with Dr. Styrt and now they both have beautiful healthy smiles!
Elizabeth
Financial/Insurance Specialist
Elizabeth was born and raised in San Diego, California. Elizabeth moved to Fort Hood, Texas in 2009 where she entered the orthodontic field and she fell in love with helping patients achieve self-confidence. After moving back to San Diego in 2012, her background in insurance, finance and customer service has brought her to the wonderful team of Dr. Styrt.
I love witnessing the positive changes in our patients every day. It is an honor to be sharing this amazing experience with them as we strive to be the best part of their day
Alex
Clinical Coordinator Specialist, RDA, OAP
Alex has been in the dental field since 1997. He completed his training at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. After working many years as a clinical assistant, he has transitioned into the role of Clinical Coordinator. When not taking care of patients, Alex enjoys sports and time with his family. Alex is happily married to his wife and they are both appreciating life as parents of two beautiful boys.
I enjoy being in the dental field because it’s very rewarding when I see patient benefit from a new smile.
Colette
Clinical Specialist, RDA, OAP
Colette, originally from Chicago, has lived in San Diego for many years. She has worked in the orthodontic field since 1994 and now works on our team as a clinical specialist. Colette adores working for Dr. Styrt and his amazing team who are always striving to set the orthodontic bar high. Colette enjoys living in the Bay Park Community with her husband and two children.
Dina
Clinical Specialist, RDA, OAP
Dina moved here from Culver City and has been in the dental field since 1987. She works as a Clinical Specialist and enjoys enhancing lives every day. Dina loves being an RDA and feels blessed to live here and work with such fun-loving people. Dina enjoys cooking, canning, and sharing her homemade salsa!
Joann
Pediatric Clinical Specialist, RDA
Joann is originally from Puerto Rico, and has lived in San Diego for over a decade. She has been in the dental field since 2007 and works as an orthodontic and pediatric clinical specialist. She is bilingual and loves to have fun with all the children. Joann does a wonderful job providing education at school visits on dental health and teaching about proper dental care. Joann is a proud mom of 3 children; an airman, a cosmetologist and a full time college student. She loves traveling and you will see her buzzing around, working as hard in our office as she trains in the gym!
Gina
Treatment Coordinator
Gina began her orthodontic career in Sacramento in 1984 working as a clinical specialist, treatment coordinator and front office administrator before coming to San Diego and joining our team in 2017. She shines in treatment coordinating, and especially loves being able to educate and connect with our new patients, creating a comfortable environment. Gina is a motivated mother of two beautiful adult daughters and fills her time with music, eating right, working out and staying healthy. She loves working for Dr. Styrt because of the quality of his team members, being surrounded by their positivity is the perfect thing to create a great day!
Karla
Pediatric Registered Dental Specialist, RDA
Karla is a Registered Dental Assistant and has been in the dental field since 2017. She found her passion for pediatric dental assisting after working at an elementary school as an after–school program coach. She finds great joy helping our young patients to always have a positive dental experience. When not seeing our patients, Karla loves to explore and try cute coffee spots with her friends and family.

Krisi
Pediatric Dental Specialist, DA
Krisi is a Puerto Rican native who moved from Florida to sunny San Diego in 2020. Her passion for dentistry began after her brother became a General Dentist. He’s been the biggest inspiration in her dental assisting journey. She joined Dr, Styrt’s office in 2021 and is excited to be a part of a great team. She loves working with kids and making their experience as comfortable as possible. She is currently working on obtaining her RDA certification. When she’s not making kids teeth sparkly, you can find her sailing the San Diego Bay and hiking.

Mackenzie
Clinical Specialist, RDA
Mackenzie is a San Diego native and has been in the dental field since 2016. She found her true love and passion for dental assisting when she became a sterilization technician working part time while attending Grossmont community college. She is so happy to have joined Team Styrt in 2018 where she can expand on her skills and knowledge. What Mackenzie enjoys to do the most is spend time with her family and explore San Diego. Mackenzie likes drawing and doodling to show her creativity and also loves dogs. She loves the positive and loving environment of her co-workers who always make the days entertaining and also enjoys creating beautiful healthy smiles for all of her patients.
Renda
Scheduling /Marketing Coordinator
Renda was born and raised in beautiful California, moved away for 18 years and then made her way back home in 2010. She is new to the Orthodontic field however, comes to us with a high level of customer service experience from the beauty industry. Renda has been married for over 30 years to her high school sweetheart and they have 3 amazing daughters that all live here in San Diego. Renda’s number one priority is family! She has a passion for clean, healthy living, she loves yoga, cooking, coffee and wine. Renda strives to be the best version of herself everyday with her obsession for personal development books and podcasts. One of her favorite quotes is…

Grace
Scheduling Coordinator/Patient Concierge
Grace is a Pittsburgh native who has always had a dream of experiencing life outside of her small hometown. In pursuit of her dreams, she has happily landed in sunny San Diego. She’s no stranger to the dental or orthodontic field, with cross-training experience in a diverse demographic including pediatric and adult dentistry since 2012 in a Pittsburgh group dental practice. Grace’s positive attitude and eagerness to grow professionally and personally has made her a great addition to Team Styrt. Grace enjoys spending her time exploring and being outside any chance she can get, as well as trying new restaurants.
